The first of my Successor armies, The Macadamians, is now 'complete' (ish).
I may eventually add another 24 figure pike unit, and possibly another elephant.
But for now, my attention must move to the other side of the table to complete the enemy army, The Antithesids.
More news over the next few days.
You know, all this talk and (wonderful) painting of ancients is giving me the itch. You've gotta stop.ReplyDelete
You know you want to scratch that itch. Buy a few to try and paint.Delete
That's it Alan! You tell him... Best regards. PhilDelete
Go for it Stokes. It's great to be painting in a different style, in a different period. A change is as good as a rest! Best regards. PhilDelete
Great looking army , it's years since I painted 28mm AncientsReplyDelete
Thank you. Glad you like them. It's nice to be able to lay out a full army in line of battle. Best regards. PhilDelete
They are coming together rather nicely...
All the best. Aly
Cheers Aly. Good to see you doing some ancients too. Best regards. PhilDelete
Looks very nice, always glad to see pikes in action!ReplyDelete
Thx Phil. Yes, there's something about pike armies. In the past I've done quite a few... Landsknechts, TYW, ECW, etc. Best regards. PhilDelete
Excellent work as ever.ReplyDelete
Thx Alan. Glad you're enjoying these. Best regards regards. PhilDelete
Looking wonderful Phil, I think you need at least two more phalanx and three more elephants, oh and some more psiloi.ReplyDelete
Thx Roddie. You have the mind of a wargamer! I'm restraining myself as much as possible. After all, it was supposed to be just a couple of thousand points for WAB. Think I'm well over that already! Best regards. PhilDelete
The boy sin blue are stuffed - unless they're Spartans in disguise?ReplyDelete
This gives me a WAB itch I am reluctant to scratch...
Scratch that itch! Reinforcements for the blue team are on the way. Best regards. PhilDelete
Great names and fantastic armies. You've built these up very quickly Phil!ReplyDelete
Thx Natholeon. It's been fun to do. Glad you like. Best regards. PhilDelete
